Pregnancy Poem: Catchy and Charming and Oh-So-True
I'm a pregnant lady
Short and stout,
I'm cranky and irritable,
You better watch out!
Six weeks and counting,
I just can't wait.
This baby had better
Not be late.
When I go to sleep
And try and dream,
My hips and legs hurt
Enough to make me scream.
Just when I think
I can catch some Zzzz,
My bladder yells,
So I get up to pee.
My heat index has risen,
Don't smell my bits,
I need to bathe thrice daily
It's really the pits.
Cleaning up my house
Is more than a chore,
Cos I can't bend over
Or get on the floor!
But since my baby will be
In my arms in just a few days,
Makes me happy and comfortable,
Helps me handle in so many ways.
